Day Trip Ideas

When you are staying for a while consider a day trip. Here are some destinations that are worth a drive.

Meredith: in the Northwest corner of Lake Winnipesaukee

Laconia / Weirs Beach: Located on the opposite side of the lake from Wolfeboro. The Weirs Beach area is a happening spot. Arcades, water parks and a “boardwalk”.

Portsmouth: Great downtown and huge selection of restaurants.

North Conway: Lots to do and see in the Mount Washington Valley.

Kennebunkport, Maine: If you want to enjoy a nice seaside town, Kennebunkport is it.

Portland, Maine: Wonderful old city with great seafood, shops and sightseeing.
