Sewall Woods in Wolfeboro is home to 30km of trails professionally groomed daily using state of the art equipment. Enjoy the serenity of nature without going to far out of town. A trail pass is needed to use this trail. It can be purchased at Nordic Skier in downtown Wolfeboro. Click here for trail pass pricing. Trail conditions are updated daily.
In addition to this groomed trail system, cross-country skiing can be done on the "rail trail". This is a free trail system. The Bridge Falls Path starts in downtown Wolfeboro and joins up with the Cotton Valley Trail which goes from Wolfeboro, through Brookfield, and into Wakefield.
The rail trail is used by walkers, snowshoers, and snowmobilers so be aware that you may have to step off of the trail to allow for others traveling at a faster pace.
We hope you get out and enjoy the Wolfeboro area in the winter. It is beautiful year round.
