Antique Cape in the Heart of NH’s Lakes Region

We are a semi-retired couple that take a break from NH in early spring (March / April) and are looking for a reliable person or couple to care for our two cats, vintage home, and plants during that time. Our home is in the beautiful town of Wolfeboro NH on Lake Winnipesaukee. Known as America’s Oldest Summer Resort, it is lively year round. Downtown offers several restaurants, coffee houses, and interesting shops. Town offers walking trails along the lakes and in the woods.

Wolfeboro is located two hours north of Boston, one hour south of North Conway, NH, and ninety minutes from Portland, Maine. Giving you several day trip options while you are in NH.

Our home is a Cape Cod style farmhouse with attached barn built in 1850 yet updated to reflect current design trends and technology. Please see photos for details; a picture is worth a thousand words. Located on a main road (but situated above and away from the roadway) provide ease of access to downtown. Walk to shops, trails, and downtown from the house if you choose.
